What is Scoliosis?

Scoliosis is a disease where the spine twists and curves to the side. The most common type of scoliosis is idiopathic scoliosis. The three main causes of scoliosis are bad posture, not enough exercise, and poor diet. Scoliosis is first spotted between the ages of 10-15. Here are some signs of scoliosis:

  • Leaning to one side
  • Ribs sticking out to one side
  • Uneven shoulders
  • A visibly curved spine
