Symptoms of Sciatica

Sciatica refers to pain that travels along the path of the sciatic nerve. Sometimes it can cause tingling, numbness, or weakness starting in the lower back and then spread to the back of the leg. Here are some of the symptoms of sciatica:

  • Constant pain on one side of the leg
  • Tingling down the leg
  • A sharp pain that makes it hard to stand
  • Pain when sitting
